International workshop: Artificial Intelligence in Electrical Engineering

To introduce lecturers and students to have the opportunity to exchange about new trends in the field of Electrical - Electronics in general and Electrical Engineering, Automation and Control Engineering in particular, applying artificial intelligence to solve problems in Electrical - Electronics Engineering. In addition, the workshop also introduced new technologies in the current IC industry

Speaker 1: Intelligence Bearing Fault Diagnosis Model Using Multiple Feature Extraction and Binary Particle Swarm Optimization With Extended Memory

Full name: Ph.D Le Truong An

Affiliation: Lecturer/Vice Director of the Electrical - Electronic Engineering program at the Thu Dau Mot University (TDMU)

Research Interests: he is currently a Lecture at Institute of Engineering Technology (Thu Dau Mot University). He received the Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from Chung Yuan Christian University, Taoyuan, Taiwan. His research interests include fault detection, optimization algorithms, machine learning, and deep learning.

Speaker 2: Artificial Intelligence: An Advanced Approach in generator scheduling on electrical Power Systems

Full name: Ph.D Maickel Tuegeh

Affiliation: Electrical Engineering Dept., Sam Ratulangi University, Manado, Indonesia

Research Interests or Your expertise: Maickel Tuegeh, currently as a Lecture at Sam Ratulangi University. He received the B.Eng. degree in electrical engineering from Sam Ratulangi University, Manado, Indonesia, Master Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology, ITS, Surabaya, Indonesia, and Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from Chung Yuan Christian University, Taoyuan, Taiwan. His current research interests include generator scheduling, renewable energy, fault detection, artificial intelligence, power system analysis, and deep learning.

Speaker 3: The advanced process about Extreme Ultraviolet Lithography

Full name: Mr. Wen Meng Syun

Affiliation: EUV Upgrade 2nd line engineer, ASML Holding N.V.

Research Interests: He is currently a EUV Upgrade 2nd line engineer, ASML Holding N.V., the Netherlands is the world's leading supplier of photolithography equipment to the semiconductor industry.

 

Speaker 4: Electricity Demand Forecasting for Smart Grid Based on Deep Learning Approach

Full name: Mr. Nguyen Van Binh

Affiliation: Lecturer of the Electrical - Electronic Engineering program at the Thu Dau Mot University (TDMU)

Research Interests: he is currently a Lecture at Institute of Engineering Technology (Thu Dau Mot University). His research areas include power system load prediction, smart grids, deep learning, and neural networks.

Speaker 5: Sliding Mode Controller Optimization Using Apdaptive PSO

Full name: Ph.D.Edu Daryl C. Maceren

Affiliation: Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology, Philippines

Research Interests: Edu Daryl C. Maceren was born in Davao City, Philippines, in 1988. He received a bachelor’s degree from Ateneo de Davao University, Philippines, in 2005, and an M.S degree in electrical engineering from Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology, Philippines, in 2017. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in electrical engineering at Chung Yuan Christian University in the Department of Electrical Engineering. His research interests include motor design and control systems.

Full name: Mr. Lin Wen Cheng

Affiliation: Field Service Engineer, Lam Research Corporation

Research Interests: He is currently a Field Service Engineer, Lam Research Corporation, an American supplier of semiconductor wafer equipment and related services to the semiconductor industry.

Full name: Mr. Zhuo Guang Lin

Affiliation: Department of Electrical Engineering, Chung Yuan Christian University, Taiwan

Research Interests: Guang-Lin Zhuo received the B.Eng. degree in electrical engineering from the Chung Yuan Christian University, Taoyuan, Taiwan, in 2018. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the Electrical Engineering Department, Chung Yuan Christian University, Taoyuan, Taiwan. His current research interests include motor fault diagnosis and deep learning.
